Our CEO

David Gatewood is a seasoned technology leader with over three decades of experience spanning the Department of Defense, higher education, manufacturing, healthcare, and auditing sectors. His career has included roles as a programmer at IBM, a consultant with Deloitte, and a subject matter expert in Active Directory and cybersecurity.

David has consistently operated at the intersection of innovation and leadership, guiding multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of IT and cybersecurity domains. Most recently, he served as a senior leader at a Fortune 100 healthcare organization, where he was instrumental in building and leading the internal Red Team. Under his direction, the team developed and operationalized advanced tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to simulate real-world adversaries—enhancing the organization’s resilience through penetration testing, physical security assessments, and architectural security reviews.

Beyond his professional achievements, David is deeply committed to public service. He co-founded Special Operations Support – Emergency Response, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to assisting local law enforcement and emergency services with rescue and recovery operations. He has also volunteered extensively with other nonprofit organizations, always bringing a service-first mindset to his work.

David holds an A.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Science, both with minors in Mathematics. He is currently pursuing an MBA to further expand his leadership and business acumen.
